수원 삼성이 박종우(29)의 영입을 공식 발표했다. 박종우는 2010년 K리그 드래프트 1순위로 부산에 입단한 이후 2014년부터 중국 광저우 R&F, UAE 알자지라, 에미레이트 클럽을 거쳐 이번에 수원의 푸른 유니폼을 입으며 5년 만에 국내 무대로 복귀하게 됐다.
국가대표로 A매치 15경기를 소화한 박종우는 K리그 통산 102경기 7득점 15도움을 기록했다. 왕성한 활동량과 남다른 투지로 런던 올림픽 동메달과 브라질 월드컵 최종 예선에서 맹활약하며 팬들에게 깊은 인상을 남긴 바 있다. 또한 당시 동메달 결정전에서 한일전 독도 피켓을 흔들며 ‘독도남’으로 최고의 활약을 펼쳤다.
